We write down 6 commonly used accessories with automatic sliding doors with their explanations below. These accessories are not only used in automatic sliding door systems but also in many automated systems.
Microwave Motion Sensor:
They are usually located at the top of the automatic sliding door and have an operating distance of up to 5 meters. Thanks to the microwave motion sensor, it detects the living objects in the radar’s field of view and triggers the photocell door’s control card for 1 second to open the door.
Security Photocell Sensor:
The security photocell sensor has an operating distance of up to 8 meters. Thanks to its infrared beams, it detects all living or inanimate objects that enter its field of view while the door is closing. They are used not only in automatic sliding doors systems, but also in many systems.
Touchless Sensor:
Touchless Sensor is generally used in places where hygiene is critically important. It opens the automatic sliding door when you bring your hand closer to the sensor without actually touching it. It has a detecting field of minimum 5cm and maximum 50cm.
Passcode Panel:
It is used for security purposes in automatic sliding door systems. In order to open the automatic sliding door, the user passcode must be entered correctly on the passcode panel. If the passcode is entered incorrectly 3 times, the passcode panel will lock itself.
Proximity Card Reader:
It is used for security purposes in automatic sliding door systems just like a passcode panel with card reader. In order to open the automatic sliding door, the proximity card registered to the card reader must be used.
Mode Selector:
It is used for mode selection of automatic sliding doors. There are 5 different modes in the mode selector. These modes are: Automatic Mode, Winter Mode, Locked Mode, One-Way Mode. Selecting a different mode changes how the automatic sliding door operates.
